Every settlement has its factions. Every faction has its people. And every person has opinions about each other that don't always match the official party line. Thread Weaver Engine builds that whole tangled web for you. Settlements, factions, and NPCs, all wired together with relationships you can see, follow, and rewrite. So you spend less time bookkeeping and more time running the game.

What it does

Generate a social map. Pick a seed, choose how many settlements, factions, and members per faction you want, and let the engine weave the rest. Reuse a seed to get the same starting results, or roll something new whenever inspiration strikes. 

Explore it. Browse place by place in Settlement Overview, or pull back to Global Faction Web to see the entire network at once, every faction, every NPC, every connection between them. Dig into faction specific views (based on location or the full faction) or select any NPC and enter their Ego View to re-center the map around them and see the web from their point of view. Perfect for figuring out who a given NPC actually knows, trusts, or fears.

See relationships, not just names. Lines on the map show you who's friendly, who's hostile, and who's somewhere in between at a glance. Flip between Official relations (the stances factions publicly hold) and Emergent relations (what the individuals inside those factions actually feel about each other). Because sometimes two allied factions are one bad dinner party away from a knife fight.

Make it yours. Add new settlements, factions, NPC’s and relations between them. This way you can ensure anything new in your world is visible. Rename anything, rewrite anything. Use the built-in dice icons for a random roll from the data tables whenever you're stuck, or generate a rumor or encounter hook right inside a NPC’s notes. Customize the tables the generator draws from if you want its suggestions to match your setting. 

Keep every note in one place. Every GM Note you write in the GM notes section on a settlement, a faction, or a person gets collected automatically in the Notebook, and is easily searchable.

Never lose your world. Autosave keeps your work safe in your browser as you go. Generate a Cloud Link to pick up your campaign on another device, or export a full JSON backup (or an Obsidian-ready vault of your notes) any time you want a copy in your pocket.
